It often begins with a sudden impulse – perhaps an emotion, a color, a sound or an environment that triggers the creative process. The artist reacts to this inspiration immediately, without thinking beforehand about what the end result should look like. The result is a flow of thoughts, feelings and movement that shapes the work.

In this sense, the resulting work is a celebration of the unplanned and unpredictable – a work of art that lives in the moment and invites the viewer to also let themselves fall into the unknown.

The shower lasted longer than usual. She wanted to savor the moment, wanted to feel every drop of paint and water on her skin. She watched as the last remnants of paint dripped from her arms and legs and the bottom of the shower cubicle drain disappeared in a final, colorful swirl.

When she finally turned off the water and wrapped herself in a soft towel, she felt light, almost floating. The colors were gone, but their effect remained. She was no longer painted, but the feeling she had had when the colors were still on her skin was still with her.
